Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud platform. You will make decisions, execute, and deliver outcomes that engineering, product, and security teams can rely on.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience;
  • Hands-on expertise across our core stack:
    • Cloud & AWS: AWS, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Batch, S3, ECR, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, IAM, SCP, AWS Workspaces
    • Kubernetes & Orchestration: EKS, ArgoCD, Argo Events, Helm, Karpenter, KEDA, Cilium, Linkerd, ECS
    • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
    • Data & Streaming: Kafka, Flink, Cassandra, StarRocks, EMR, Valkey, OpenSearch
    • Observability: Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Alloy
    • Edge & CDN: Cloudflare, CloudFront
    • Security & Access: Vault, Cloudflare Zero Trust, WARP, JumpCloud (SCIM)
    • CI/CD & Developer Tooling: GitLab, ECR, Harbor
    • Service Mesh / RPC: gRPC, Protobuf, Linkerd, Cilium
    • Feature Flags & Product Infra: GrowthBook
  • Comfort making decisions independently and moving work forward with minimal oversight;
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication; effective across distributed teams;
  • Practical fluency with modern AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, agents) as part of daily work;
  • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Karpenter, Cilium, Helm, KEDA, GitOps, Flink, StarRocks, EMR, OpenSearch, Valkey, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, k6, Vault, Boundary, Zero Trust, mTLS, SCIM, Linkerd, or eBPF networking

Responsibilities: 

  • Own infrastructure design, delivery, and operations across our cloud platform
  • Operate production environments spanning multiple AWS accounts and EKS clusters
  • Partner with engineering, product, security, and data teams to deliver reliable solutions
  • Drive observability, reliability, cost efficiency, and developer experience
  • Integrate AI tooling into day-to-day engineering workflows

PROJECT

The project is a social network that runs without ads, giving users control over their own feeds and offering creative communities room to grow. You'll be working alongside an experienced Data Architect and a solid engineering team, on a project built with a modern tech stack that handles large-scale, real-time data processing.

Work Schedule: Full-time remote working day with flexible hours

Interview stages:

  • 1-st stage — Call with the Recruiter

  • 2-nd stage — Interview with the technical specialist and the recruiter

  • 3-rd stage — Technical interview with the client
